IEP2800X-4RS follows the ITU-T G.984.x standard, IEEE 802.3ah, CTC 2.0, 2.1/3.0 standards, and has good interoperability and operability, compatible with OLT devices from mainstream manufacturers such as Huawei/ZTE/FiberHome/Nokia. This device is developed using mature technology and open network standards, with a quasi industrial design that can adapt to complex high and low temperature difference environments. It has strong anti-interference capabilities and meets the requirements of different network working environments, providing efficient, reliable, and fast solutions for IoT communication access.
The IEP2800X-4RS ONU is equipped with dual PON ports for uplink, providing service interfaces such as GPON/EPON, GE, RS232/RS485, etc. Meets a wide temperature range of -40℃~75℃, can adapt to various environments, meets electromagnetic compatibility level 4 standards, and has been certified by testing institutions.
IEP2800X-4RS supports 2xGPON/EPON interfaces, 4/8 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 interfaces (optional PoE function), and 4 RS232/RS485 serial ports. The product adopts modular design, supports multiple customization needs, ensures safety and reliability, has a compact size, and low power consumption. The product power supply supports a wide voltage range of AC100-240V~or DC12-60V, fully covering the requirements of the distribution environment for equipment power supply.
The IEP2800X-4RS GPON/EPON network supports multi-level split bus architecture and tree structure, which can meet the needs of various access environments. Using fiber optic as the transmission medium, the entire process is passively transmitted, ensuring reliable and stable operation, and achieving single fiber bidirectional high bandwidth service carrying. GPON supports 2.5Gbps downstream and 1.25Gbps upstream; EPON supports high bandwidth transmission of up to 1.25Gbps/down, and when paired with GPON/EPON OLT devices, GPON can achieve a splitting ratio of up to 1:128, while EPON can achieve a high splitting ratio of up to 1:64, with a network coverage radius of up to 20KM.
The IEP2800X-4RS ONU device has a power outage notification function, which means that when the outdoor ONT device loses power, it can notify the OLT of its own power outage event through the OAM's Dying Gasp function. The IEP2800X-4RS device is equipped with system and hardware level watchdog functions. In the event of uncontrollable factors such as external electromagnetic interference, which can cause data chaos in various registers and memory, program pointer errors, program out of program areas, and incorrect program instructions being retrieved, it may fall into a dead loop, leading to normal program operation or configuration errors that cause the device to crash. It can automatically restart the device to restore business operation, thereby reducing the maintenance work of engineers.
The IEP2800X-4RS device has long emission self detection and self shutdown functions. When the device detects its own long emission, it automatically shuts off the ONT optical module to avoid affecting the normal use of other ONU devices under the same PON port.

Serial port function:
1. Communication is stable and reliable, supporting full duplex, high-speed, and long-term data forwarding without packet loss. Support users to continuously send large amounts of data on both serial and network ports without pause and without losing data;
2. The serial port supports 2 stop bits, supports data bits less than 8 bits, and supports a baud rate of 921.6K bsp;
3. Working mode: Supports TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP mode, UDP multicast, and TCP Server/Client coexistence. As a client, connect to 6 destination IPs, and as a server, support 10 client connections;
4. The baud rate supports 110~921.6Kbps and can be customized with special baud rates. The data bits support 5-9 bits, and the check bits can be None, Odd, Even, Mark, Space in five ways. It supports CTS/RTS, DSR/DTR, XON/XOFF flow control, and 1-2 stop bits;
5. Support DHCP, DNS, and no data restart function;
6. Support Modbus gateway function for converting Modbus TCP to RTU;
7. Supports Modbus RTU/DLT645 to JSON conversion, supports integration with public and private clouds;
8. Support MQTT connections, support various types of public cloud data transmission, and other features;
9. Support RS485 multi host communication mode;
10. Support the conversion of RS485/232 signals from various industrial equipment in industrial automation to TCP/IP signals for acquisition and control.
